If using a DCM-PRO membrane, scrape/scratch and prime the vinyl to ensure bonding with a highly modified thinset and install the membrane directly to it.

Yes you can heat under glass tiles. The thin-set holds the heat. The glass (silicon) isn’t a very good conductor but the thin-set does the work.

Conduit Requirements when Installing a Warmup System


We recommend using a conduit 1/2 conduit for one lead or a 3/4″ conduit if connecting two systems to one thermostat. In addition, we recommend a separate 1/2″ conduit for the floor sensor.

The conductor cores and ground braid of the 10′ cold lead are factory joined in a water resistant joint assembly to each supply conductor and ground conductor of the unheated lead.

Where do I run the cold lead and sensor probe during DCM-PRO installation?


The cold tail lead and the sensor probe should be run in separate conduits. This will prevent any interference from the cold tail lead affecting the temperature readings from the sensor probe.
