Does Warmup restrict tile size?
Heating Mats – DWM
Warmup does not restrict tile size.
Warmup requires the heating element to be embedded in at least 3/8” of thinset or leveler. The size of tile may impact the installation method but there is no minimum requirement for tile size. Mosaic tile is acceptable as long as the dual-layer installation method is followed, which requires the system to first be embedded in thinset/leveler and then the mosaic tile to be installed using thinset afterwards.
